In this month’s Employee Spotlight series, Amrita Kumari takes centre stage. She has been an integral part of our team since 2019, bringing dedication and a vibrant spirit to her role.
In her role as NDIS Program Facilitator, Amrita makes sure that all of our NDIS processes run smoothly to underpin the services our Support Workers provide. She prepares Service Agreements and collaborates closely with Support Coordinators and Participants to ensure services align with allocated funding and help resolve any budget or funding issues. She liaises across the organisation including our NDIS Programme team, our Finance team and our Coordination and clinical teams.
In short, she’s a vital link to ensure the successful functioning of our NDIS services.
Amrita finds immense satisfaction in being part of a well-supported team. Currently, she is most excited about the budgeting and financial aspects of her role. This was a new challenge for Amrita moving from an HR and compliance role in the business, but she has discovered a passion and proficiency in this area since starting her position as NDIS Program Facilitator.
One significant recent success that stands out for Amrita is the close collaboration and teamwork with external stakeholders in order to ensure an early review for a Participants whose funding would not support his needs throughout the plan period. Amrita was pleased to be able to play a part in ensuring the continuation of services for this client.

Outside of work, Amrita is a nature enthusiast who enjoys gardening and spending time with her family. She takes pride in her ability to quickly learn new processes and deliver successful results. Professionally, she has grown by mastering multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
She believes that everyone should be flexible and open to learning at every step of life, as each day brings numerous opportunities to grow and evolve. Her advice to anyone considering a career in the healthcare and community support industry is that it is a fulfilling and rewarding path that offers a chance to make a meaningful contribution to society.
