If you’ve been involved in an accident, suffered an injury or have been in hospital for an illness or surgery, you may need some support at home for a period of time whilst you get back on your feet.
We work with a number of healthcare providers to support their clients or patients to get back on the road to recovery as quickly as possible.
Our recovery support services, tailored to you
If you need help with transitioning from the hospital to your home, you may need to access our short term supports services. From help with cleaning around the home to attending appointments, we can support you.
Our in-home aged care services, tailored to you
Getting older shouldn’t stop you from enjoying the lifestyle you want and maintaining your independence in your own home. We provide a range of in-home aged care services throughout Melbourne which are tailored to you, your goals and your preferences.
From a few hours to 24/7 care, our holistic aged care services are available at home when you need them and can be increased or decreased as required.
We work with Victorian health services
Transport Accident Commission (TAC)
We are a registered provider with the TAC, offering personal care, shopping and nursing services to TAC clients.
If you’ve been involved in a transport accident and have TAC approved services, we’re here to help you get back on track. You can ask TAC to use Absolute Care & Health to provide your services.
Going home from Hospital
We work closely with a number of Health Services around Victoria to provide care to their patients who are being discharged from hospital with some post-acute care supports or transition care supports. This may include personal care assistance, domestic and shopping assistance and nursing services. These supports from the hospital generally last for several weeks whilst you recover.
Many people who receive this support then go on to a government funded package for aged-care support at home or on to an NDIS plan. In these cases, we can continue to support you through our Aged Care Support or our NDIS services.
WorkSafe
We are a registered provider and can provide a range of nursing services to WorkSafe (WorkCover) clients. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide personal care assistance at this time.
