The team at Absolute is fun and passionate, and the work we do is rewarding. We provide a positive and caring environment for our team members as well as our clients.

We are more than a place of work. We want to create a community of people who share our values and our desire to provide great care and support experiences every day.

We think we’ve got a lot to offer – get in touch and find out more! Or visit our company recruitment page on Indeed.

Supporting you

As a support worker or carer with Absolute you will enjoy a range of benefits;

We offer great rates for our Support Workers and Carers, providing opportunities to increase your rate as you achieve and advance with us.

We offer various routes for career development and progression. Many of our team started with us in the field and have gone on to roles such as Lead Workers, Care Coordinators, Care Managers and Nurses.

We also love supporting our Carers and Support Workers with flexible rosters and working days to accommodate their life-goals, whether that’s studying in a related or totally unrelated field, raising a family or working another job alongside the one with us!

If you enjoy working with a wide range of different people you’ll have the opportunity to work with clients across our three key areas of disability support, in-home aged care and recovery care. Or if you prefer, you can focus in just one area.

When you start work with us, you won’t be left alone in the field to fend for yourself. When you join you’ll be supported by an Onboarding Manager who is there to help you find your feet at Absolute; link you in to the various teams who will match you to our clients and ensure you have a full roster; support you with any difficulties or issues you experience and generally be your buddy to help ensure you settle in.

We hold local get-togethers (with coffee and snacks!) across Melbourne so that local team members can get-together, meet each other and meet staff from our head office.

We offer a range of opportunities to expand, update and develop your skills and competencies. As well as all the mandatory training, we offer a range of training covering key areas that our team members have told us they would most like more training in. We also offer a dedicated transition course for those with an Aged-Care or Individual Support certificate who would like to gain more knowledge and training to work with people with a disability.
